How to Upload a List of Clients to Your Project

Last modified:

Manually adding clients to the system can be a labor-intensive process. However, with the introduction of the "Client Import" feature in the web version of DIKIDI, this task is now simplified to a minimum.

Why is this feature needed?

The "Client Import" feature allows you to automate the process of adding clients to your project/profile.

Instead of entering the data of each client manually, you can simply upload a file with a pre-prepared list of clients. This significantly reduces the time spent on adding clients and reduces the likelihood of errors.

How to import a client list?

Step 1. File Upload

To upload a client list to the DIKIDI system:

  1. Open the desired profile/project on the website.
  2. Go to the "Clients" section - "List of customers" in the left menu.
  3. Click on the "Three dots" icon in the upper right corner.
  4. Select "Import".

Next, a window for file upload will appear.

File requirements for import

File format - XLS, XLSX (Microsoft Excel), or CSV. You can use a file exported from another program or create your own.

You can download a template by clicking on the "Download Template" button to see an example of data formatting in the file. The file size should not exceed 5MB and should have a maximum of 10,000 rows.

Step 2. Data Mapping

After uploading the file, the window will display settings for the document that are necessary for the correct import of client data.

In the left column of the settings, you will see the column numbers and names from the uploaded document.
In the right column
, the client card fields in the DIKIDI system are displayed. You need to match the names with the left column and select the appropriate ones.

You can choose to skip importing certain data by selecting the "Do Not Import" option.

If you enable the "Replace clients if they are already added" option, the program will automatically replace the client's data if they have already been added to your project. This helps to avoid duplication.

Step 3. Confirmation of Import

You can preview the filled client card by clicking on the "Card Preview" button. You can navigate through the client cards by clicking on the arrow.

If the card is filled correctly, please click on "Import" to proceed with the import.

Done! Сlients have been added to the system, and you have saved a lot of time)
