How does the Bonus program module work?

Last modified:

Nowadays many companies practice bonuses to attract and retain customers – gratitude in the form of points encourages them to come back to you to get a discount.

Add a bonus program

In this section you can add a program and set your conditions for accruing/writing off bonuses. You can set it for any period. The program can be both one-level or multilevel, where bonuses will be accrued when customers achieve specified indicators.

You can set a program from your PC on the DIKIDI Business website in the Customers – Bonus program section.

Accrual of bonuses

Bonuses are accrued when you make the sale of a service and payment in the journal of appointments, if all the conditions which you have specified are met. Bonuses are accrued to the clients who got under the conditions of the bonus program. You can view the Bonuses in the Client's card.

Bonus accrual

Bonuses are accrued when making a sale and paying in the Appointment journal, if all the conditions that you specified when setting up a bonus program are met. Bonuses are accrued to all customers who fall under the terms of the bonus program. You can check a Bonus account in a customer card in the Statistics section.

Payment with bonuses

It's possible to pay for a visit with bonuses when registering a sale and paying for goods and services. You can choose exactly how many bonuses you need to write off from a customer account, having previously specified this with the customer. Limitation of the maximum percentage of payment by bonuses will be made based on your settings for writing off bonuses. Remaining amount can be paid as usual – by card or in cash.

Setting up several bonus programs

You can add several bonus programs to the section at once, as well as pause and restart their activity as needed. You can add both long-term programs (permanent bonuses) and short-term ones (March 8, Black Friday, New Year). If you have several programs active at the same time and a customer meets their conditions, then when making a sale, he will be awarded points for the largest % cashback of them.

Setting up a multi-level bonus program

In one program, it's possible to set several levels of bonus accrual at once. Adding several levels is suitable for thanking regular customers and motivating them to come to you again. The more money a client has spent, the more points he receives from each visit. Add levels through a plus sign and specify necessary data.

Examples of bonus program settings

Before you add a program, answer yourself the question: What is the purpose of bonuses?

  1. To attract new customers — when setting up a program, specify 0 in Savings and check the required amount. Then any customer will be getting bonuses from any sale that can be spent on next visits.
  2. Retain regular customers – specify the required amount so that bonuses are accrued only to those who have spent at least this amount for all the time, that is, regular customers.
  3. Increase the average check — when setting up the program in Savings, specify 0, and write the required amount, spending which at one time, a customer will be credited with bonuses.
  4. In honor of some holiday — set an increased % of cashback so that customers receive more bonuses for future visits.
