Autocalculations: What Is It & How Does It Work?

Última modificación:

To pay an employee's salary, it is necessary to first calculate and after accrue it. The accrual is the ground for payment. It contains the calculation formula and a clarification showing how the final amount was calculated.

What Is an Autocalculation?

Autocalculation is a document that is automatically created by the system and records the employee's salary amount for the day based on the configured salary scheme.

✅ Example:

According to the salary scheme, the employee receives:

  • a fixed daily rate of 10 dollars
  • a percentage of their own sales of 40%

When the workday begins, the system automatically creates an "Autocalculation" document for the amount of 10 dollars. Throughout the day, the accrual amount is being updated based on the sales made.

Thus, if the employee had 4 appointments in a day, and each procedure costs 20 dollars, the total salary for the day would be: 10 + (4 × 20 × 0.4) = 42 dollars.

The system automatically creates such accruals. At the end of the reporting period, you only need to pay the accrued amount.

Where Can I View the Accruals?

The entire list of auto-accruals is available in the "Salary" → "Operations" section.
